Appetizer – Mike & Mary

Shrimp wrapped in bacon with blue cheese.

Wine – Santa Margarita Pinot Grigio

First course – Alex & Isabel

Hot smoked salmon salad with Mango and Avocado salsa

Wine – 2007 Castle Rock Chardonnay Reserve, Russian River Valley

Entrée – Ron & Cheryl

Herb rubbed Ribeye steak with Chimichurri sauce and summer squash.

2006 Michael Pozzan Marianna (Napa Valley, Cab, Merlot, cabfranc, malbec blend)

2005 Barons de Rothschild (Lafite Medoc, Cab & Merlot blend)

Appetizer - Kathy & Steve

Microwave "Movie" Popcorn & Dates stuffed with Parm. Reg. wrapped in bacon.

Wine - Piper Sonoma Brut Select Cuvee from Sonoma County.

First course - Ron & Cheryl

Gazpacho - tomato and vegetable base with cucumbers, sweet peppers, red onion, tomatoes, Worcester sauce, etc. with Feta cheese croutons.

Wine - 2006 Jacuzzi Barbera and 2007 Cha. St. Michell Reisling.

Entree - Mike & Mary

Mixed Grill - Flank and Chicken with a slightly spicy and sweet marinade and Calabrese Sausage (spicy, Southern Italy).

Wine - 2007 Sobon Zin from Amador County, added to the spiciness /fruit of the meal.

Dessert - Alex & Isabel

Galette de pomme (apple)

Wine - 2007 Jackson-Triggs Vidal Ice Wine (beautiful pairing)

Arugala, avocado, pecan, yellow roasted beets, sherry vinegar, orange zest/juice and goat cheese salad.

Wine - 2006 Domaine Merlin Cherrier Sancerre from France.

Entree - Alex & Isabel

Pork Wellington w/apricot sauce, Fresh Peas and Bulgar. –

Waldorf Salad.

2003 Muir Hanna Napa Chardonay (oakey, $5).

Herb Crusted Salmon.

2002 Beaux Freres Pinot Noir (OR. $55 not liked, not fruity)

2006 Cambria (CA, $19, lighter, paired well with the salmon)

2007 Kings Ridge (OR. $16, good nose & taste, R & C son's winery).

Wine - 2006 Holly's Hill Grenach from El Dorado.

First course – Kathy & Steve

Cream of Broccoli soup with goat cheese toast.

Wine - 2008 KM Crawford from New Zealand.

Entree - Mike & Mary

Pork with Pesto, Feta, Pine Nuts and Pesto Pine Nut Jalapeno, Butternut squash with red peppers, Parmesan, Parsley and rosemary.

Wine - 2002 Muir Hanna Cab from Napa.
